Welcome
Wolkara Elders is a First Nations community organisation based in Western Sydney. We are a safe space for older Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to connect with each other and with culture.
Each week we meet, make phone calls, and visit Elders to laugh, yarn, and enjoy life. Through our programs and advocacy, we are overcoming social isolation, improving wellbeing and access to services, and proudly carrying our cultural legacy forward.
Join us as we walk together in culture, care, and community.
We're there to support each other and check on each other. So, we become like an extended family. — Aunty Deb
